FOOD
I hate wasting time hemming and hawing over where to eat. Usually our choices hit the spot but we've also had a few misses. One spontaneous Wednesday night, we popped over to the neighborhood spot, Poco Deli. They serve all sorts of sausages and meats from Mickey's Delicatessen (P: Another good deli along Jupiter St., Makati) and they also have a separate counter selling Dave's Naturals premium frozen yogurt.

Twinning's blend iced tea
D: This is definitely part of my top 10 iced tea blends list.
P: Subtler and smoother than your regular sugar-blasted iced tea.
I liked the slight sweetness of the ham and the cheese was definitely a big winner. I wanted to put some sort of sauce on it though. Like a nice honey mustard or something. Still, this definitely made for a good dinner.
D: My friends couldn't get their heads out of the gutter when they saw this photo.
P: Kielbasa with bacon rice and sauerkraut
If you get this dish, make sure to ask for some mustard on the side. Sausages, sauerkraut, and mustard = a threesome made in heaven.
The sausage was grilled crisp on the outside then juicy and peppery on the inside. A deli classic, indeed. One caveat though is that the bacon rice is not as good as it sounds. It's basically a large cup of rice topped with bacon bits that don't really add too much flavor (although plus points for using real bacon). You can also order this dish with other sausages such as their grilled Nurnberger.

D: My personal favorite vanilla bean premium yogurt from Dave's to cap off the meal.

FASHION
P: Came fromthe office!
Wearing: thrifted, striped white button-down; black slacks from a Bangkok market (the thick, slightly structured fabric makes it feel like a comfortable pair of jeans!); Topman belt (love the minimalist buckle); Sarar from Tyler blacked capped-toe oxfords; a bow tie from D.
I was a bit apprehensive when D told me she was getting me this but upon seeing it, I liked its size and how the wings fit under the collar.
D: White crop top from P, tie-back bow skirt, floral wedges, pearl bib necklace and barely seen Body Shop lipstick in 55 (a good alternative to the MAC Pink Noveau that's been trending recently.Wearing: thrifted, striped white button-down; black slacks from a Bangkok market (the thick, slightly structured fabric makes it feel like a comfortable pair of jeans!); Topman belt (love the minimalist buckle); Sarar from Tyler blacked capped-toe oxfords; a bow tie from D.
