Flyin' solo for this blog post!
Here's last Saturday's outfit and some of the fun stuff I found over the weekend.

Vintage gray floral cover-up, Nothing but Water tank, random cut-offs. JC Salvatore rainbow platforms, vintage coral necklace from my grandma

Nothing special, just wanted punchy colors on top of my comfiest basics!

 bracelet, F&H
rings (from L to R): vintage, Gold Dot, vintage, F21

P and I stopped by the Coachella Bazaar and I bought this gorgeous horn necklace from OS.
I like how raw it looks and I love the thought they put into the packaging as well!

Check out it's scale against my C3 cellphone!
It's super heavy and definitely a great way to punctuate an outfit.
I also found this braided cord and feather necklace for only P350!
It's super fun to play with because of how versatile it is.

Finally, this double breasted navy blazer!
I found it while P was shopping for his SM Boys Teens Wear feature.
It came from the Boys Kids Wear and it fits and falls really well!
They had a few more in stock so you might want to check them out.

Only P500! I love my random finds!

Did you find anything special this weekend?

P.S.  This Wednesday, April 13 marks an entire year from when we first started this humble, little diary of ours. We've had a blast sharing our adventures with our friends and whoever else stumbles upon this site!
So many of our favorite blogs have exciting give-away contests all the time and we decided to follow suit.
Ours will just be a simple token for the handful of readers that we might have out there!
We'll announce the details this Wednesday so if you want a shot at winning something cute and colorful, stay tuned! :)

Food Finds: Cha Time

~ ~
P and I are both big fans of tea-based beverages and we've sampled quite a few here in Manila and even in Hong Kong and Bangkok. So when we found out Chatime had opened right beside my neighborhood supermarket, we were excited to try it out!

 Chatime's space

Check out their super extensive menu.
It took us quite a while to pick out what drink we wanted to sample!

They sure had a lot of employees manning the stations but the service was still a bit slow and they messed up our orders twice in a row.
I guess we'd have to chalk that up to the birthing pains most new businesses encounter.

Their upstairs lounge is such a great space to sip your beverages and just well, lounge.

First floor area

You can choose your sugar level, just like the option Serenitea offers. They also let you choose how much ice you want to put in your drink.

The verdict?
Really refreshing and generous with their pearl toppings!
The Hawaii Fruit Tea is my new favorite drink for now. We also sampled the Matcha with Red Bean smoothie, and the Roasted Milk Tea (which P went nuts for) and the Passionfruit Tea. So far, all variants were super yummy!

They have a buy one-take one promo until the 14th so come check out the latest tea brand in the metro!
Chatime is located at Pioneer Center Supermarket.

Feature: SM Boys’ Teens Wear - Part 2

~ ~

FEATURE

More finds care of SM Boys' Teens Wear! This one's a great pick for summer. You don't have to be relegated to board shorts, t-shirts and slippers just because the weather is sweltering.

Shades from D and the US, shirt and shorts from SM, Topman belt, loafers from Marikina Shoe Expo in Cubao

I like short-sleeved button downs for summer. I find that they keep you cool better than a shirt. Plus, you have to love the schoolboy print on this.

The shorts are light and are incredibly easy to pair with anything. These will see a lot of wear these next months.

Thanks to D and her scenic garage haha.

That's all for now. My next post will coincide with the launch of SM BTW's contest on their facebook page (link below). GCs await! In the meantime, check out SM for your own great finds.

FEATURE

D has always been a big fan of shopping in SM department stores so I've been a witness to how SM's selection for guys has developed.

SM Boys' Teens Wear department is undergoing a major relaunch/revamp and there are lots of good finds available. The best part is all the goodies are well-priced! This will be a multi-part feature so watch out for it over the coming days.

Shirt, jeans, D-ring suede belt all  from SM and shoes from Zara

I love the western-inspired detailing on the pockets and shoulders. Nice upgrade to the regular and already ubiquitous plaid shirt.

I'd been looking for a pair of white jeans for the summer and this "dirty" pair was a good find. I like that it's kind of rough, which I prefer over a crisp pair.

You can check out SM BTW on Facebook at the link below.
They'll be launching a contest with a ton of SM GCs at stake.
Deets soon so stay tuned!

A Stylish Summer w/ ARANAZ

~ ~
A few weekends back, Rosanna invited us to the trunk show of their Aranaz Summer collection.
There was a multitude of beautifully designed and crafted bags to choose from, as well as some new items for their Ropas collection.
Have a look at the latest offerings of Aranaz.

Spot the Aranaz designer (and Rosanna's big sis), Amina in the wide-leg denims and yellow/khaki jacket!

One of my favorite bags of the bunch! I love the colors on that parrot!

The other one that caught my eye was that woven ikat bag with chain handles. See it?
Isn't it pretty? It adds the perfect punch to all your summer whites.

This was my other pick of the collection. I love me a bucket bag for easygoing, laid-back days and isn't that what summer is all about? I can see myself stuffing all my essentials in and comfortably toting this with me EVERYWHERE! Love the pattern on the green one and the texture on the white!

Adorable striped belts with wooden buckles! Love the pop of orange on the tote as well!
How I wish I was beach-bound again!

Soft leather strips woven into a chic bag. I love the floppy bits, for lack of a better term.

 Ropas

Flattering maxi dress with tummy cut-out to set off the perfect tan!

Dive in headfirst into the colorblocking trend with this tailored jacket.
I love the one with the yellow colorway!

"Tailored Tribal is what best describes our Summer 2011 Collection.
A plethora of rich textures & techniques such as striped Ifugao weaves, hand-embroidered straw, ikat prints, color blocking, with neon touches in sleek and understated silhouettes.

The ARANAZ ROPAS Summer 2011 collection consists of tailored silhouettes in bright neons grounded by nude & gray in lightweight fabrics such as linen & chiffon.
With favorite ARANAZ touches such as mother of pearl embellishments, braided leather belts, and unique wooden labels."
